Clairefontaine Pastelmat Mountboard - 70 x 100 cm - 5 Sheets

Description

• Clairefontaine Pastelmat mounted board includes 5 sheets of 360gsm paper in a 70 x 100 cm format, mounted onto a 1.8 mm thick, 1100g rigid board for enhanced stability.
• Each sheet is bonded to a strong backing, providing excellent support and allowing it to sit securely on an easel without additional mounting.
• Ideal for dry pastel work, the rigid format makes handling, transport and display easier, particularly for a delicate medium.
• The 360gsm Pastelmat surface offers a soft yet gripping texture, enabling strong pigment adhesion, layering and precise control without saturation.
• Balancing grip and softness, it sits between sanded and velour papers, offering versatility for blending, detail work and finished pieces ready for framing.
