Description

• Clairefontaine Paint'On Grain Pad is an A2 glued pad featuring 250gsm paper with a white surface, designed for artists seeking an expressive coloured background.
• Each sheet offers two distinct working surfaces. One side has a pronounced grain that adds texture and character, ideal for expressive marks and layered work. The reverse side is smooth, suited to precise drawings and detailed line work.
• The 250gsm weight provides excellent strength, making this paper suitable for dry techniques while also performing reliably with wet media.
• Well adapted to pencil, felt tip, Indian ink, gouache, and acrylic, it supports experimentation without compromising surface quality.
• Acid free and PEFC certified, this pad ensures long-lasting results while meeting responsible sourcing standards.
